2.) The University of British Columbia has not followed due process in the handling of the Galloway mess and has refused to be open in its explanations of its actions.
3.) Justice Boyd’s report, which found that all but one of the allegations made against Mr. Galloway, including those that would warrant his dismissal, were unsubstantiated should be released for public scrutiny without restriction. An independent investigation of UBC’s actions against Mr. Galloway along with its decision-making process is warranted and the results should be made public without restriction.
I have not, by the way, read Mr. Galloway’s books, I have never communicated with him in any way, and I have not met him personally.
